Off topic but a bit of fun -- why your username?

So like most of you this Forum has become a daily read for me during my 16 week build and I see the same user names pop up often, some of them are very unique/interesting (to me at least

)
So I decided to put this thread up and see if anyone wants to share why they've chosen a particular name and if there is an interesting background story worth sharing.
Unfortunatly mine is pretty boring, Custom Install is the name of my business here is Scotland. We specialise in ... Custom Installation of Home Cinema/AV/Data-networking in residential homes.

Feel free to post away your full disclosure explanations, I feel like some light hearted distraction is never a bad thing in the doom and gloom or BMW delays

My first name is Jim and I grew up in Bethesda, MD. Not very creative, I know.

I'm an 80s kid. Was a big fan of transformers until Micheal Bay came along (watched all his movies regardless). My username spells out Megatron, the ivi creates an 'M'. The avatar I have is of Megatron.

We haven’t been relevant for over a decade, I’m not sure even we understand anymore (though the tailgate parties are pretty insane).

I've used GixY2K since I started to get into Suzuki GSXRs back in '99 and the highly anticipated first litter bike, the 2001 GSXR1000 was getting ready to be released and turn the sportbike world upside down (big fan of Mat Mladin, but apparently that didn't age well

). While at the same time, everyone was talking about Y2K. So I kinda mixed the two together. I've used it for all forums ever since; Subaru, GTRLife, BMW S1000RR, etc.

I agree, never owned one personally but did get a drive in the E92 and when opened up it was special
