Hell's h8 bulbs and holder halo rings

Has anyone else tried converting these bulb holders to accept a different type of bulb. Read so many reviews of Led bulb conversions with varying results.

I had both halo rings go at the same time and couldn't decide what direction to go so thought I would have a play and see what I can do. After a bit of thought and use of many 501 blade type led's for the interior etc I decided to dissect the bulb holder, remove the innards and try to make my own.

What I ended up with is the same bulb holder but with a 501 (w5w) bulb holder and bulb

Fitting hem now to see how they look, will try and post a pic when I can get in my pc if anyone's interested after seeing the results I would be happy to make a few more for a small fee. All I would need is the bulb holders for a few days..
