Hello, is it possible (autmatic drive car) to view the gear somewhere in a display?

If you switch the gearbox to sport mode (move lever to the left) it shows you the gears. I am not sure if you can see them in comfort mode though.

Yes, i can see them when i put the automatic in hand-mode. But i want to see them always.

A other question, when trying this. In manual mode (handle to the left) the gearbox wil switch also automatic when i brake. What is the difference with automatic mode?!

This question, for driving whit a heavy loaded trailer, hill down.

Well this makes sense. If you don't downshift when the car slows down too much, the engine/gearbox might be damaged because of the low torque (especially when towing). So the car does it for you.

Perhaps it will be the phone display.
With the help of the BIMMERLINK program, you can watch many parameters of your car, including the gear engaged.
