If you switch the gearbox to sport mode (move lever to the left) it shows you the gears. I am not sure if you can see them in comfort mode though.

Yes, i can see them when i put the automatic in hand-mode. But i want to see them always.
A other question, when trying this. In manual mode (handle to the left) the gearbox wil switch also automatic when i brake. What is the difference with automatic mode?! This question, for driving whit a heavy loaded trailer, hill down. g,Ruud |

Well this makes sense. If you don't downshift when the car slows down too much, the engine/gearbox might be damaged because of the low torque (especially when towing). So the car does it for you.
