Really want the 6WA "Instrument cluster with extended contents" that accompanies the Tech Pkg on the 2014s to look like the ones on the 2014 X3s. This cluster looks like the ones on the F10 and blacks out almost completely, when the vehicle is not on.

I'm hoping for the X3-version of the 6WA. There would be no reason to offer it on the X3 but not on the F30 - but who knows..

My extended cluster in my Feb 13 build looks like the X3 cluster. I only get the mode display when I have changed modes. Then it reverts back to what the X3 looks like.

The change being referred to is the way the gauge faces are designed, not the way the extended display is being output.

The F25 cluster looks a lot cleaner and the indented look is a lot crisper.

Just got my F30 at the beginning of the month and it has the F25 cluster (no fine grained marks on the fuel, speedometer, etc.). Don't know the manufacture date off hand...

Does the cluster go black when the ignition is off? Can you post a picture.

I really hope it is installed on the 4 series.. I looked really closely to the prototype and early pics showed the old clusters while the newone seem to show "cleaner" clusters which might mean the Black Screen!!

only sport/msport has the fine grained marks

Really wanted this cluster too, but I was a year too early when I bought mine.

Hopefully it would be possible to retrofit it

There has been no change to the MY14 F32 cluster, so, in my book, the chance of an instrument cluster update on the MY14 F30 has fallen to 0%.....

I suspect the black panel cluster will be introduced as part of LCI.

God! I so wanted the full black panel on the MY14s. Now the M3 & M4 are going to get it :-(

I kinda like the non-full black panel better. None of the M3/M4 photos show the black panel. It's the same F30 cluster.

Not true. Look closer. The dial surrounds are not fully round and there is digital information displayed below the speedo.
