Where is this "personal attack" you speak of. The only one I see is you questioning Run Silent's intelligence.

If you could show me where I used your name in that post, I would certainly appreciate it.

Just because I say "people", it doesn't automatically mean I am speaking about you. Good grief.

See the previous post. It was directed at me.

Even if it was (Clue: it wasn't), it wasn't an "attack" by any stretch.

For me, if I see a word or acronym I do not recognize, I google it real quick so I do understand it.

I'll admit, I wasn't aware KSA was an acronym for Saudi Arabia, but I understood what it was based on the context. After googling, it seems to be extremely common, and not obscure at all.

Now, If he said something like.

"LOL Captain Blood is a MORON for not knowing what KSA meant!!!"

Then yes, that would be a personal attack.

Here's some help for anyone who is confused on what is or is not a personal attack:

Last week I thought it was an acroym for a kurdish group. I have never referred to Saudi Arabia as "KSA". His comment was obviously a continuation of that. If it wasn't, I'll let that go. But I suspect strongly (95%+) that it was a dig at me. Not the first time, on his part.

Again, its not all that uncommon.

Probably even less so for someone who has served there. (Military folks like their acronyms)

*I* was guilty of the initial "attack" today, but it was directed at Run Silent . You were just an off-hand backslap in passing

So some troops are actually going to stay in Syria. Lol. Somehow I knew the crazy war republicans would get to trump.

We need someone with guts and principle as president. Maybee gabbard is the best choice since she is so consistent about ending wars in Mid East.

Of course. Have to protect that oil. It's always about the oil in the ME. Its not just Republicans. They all love endless wars. Doesn't matter if they have an (R) or a (D) behind their name.

Yes you are right they are both so bad. But crazy republicans are worse right now but it's usually a close tie

I guess we will see a mysterious attack soon from crazy republicans favorite bad guys to prove we need those troops to stay

Miss.

Trump, with all his history of being accused of racism - whether it's valid or not - just referred to the impeachment inquiry as a "lynching". Yeah, that's smart.

Saying something is a "lynching" is racist?

Well, apparently, anything that isn't within the Democrat narrative is 'racist' - didn't you know?

No, please don't put words in my mouth. When there are questions about your sensitivity surrounding race issues, it's obviously in your best interest not to use inflammatory language. This is simply common sense.

Who couldn't see him getting backlash over that verbiage?

It's akin to comparing things to Nazism or the Holocaust. Unless you're talking about actual Nazis or actual government sponsored genocide, it's always a bad idea.

If this is referencing my post, I expected better of you, RS.

It doesn't need to be racist to be an incredibly dumb choice of words.

No - not you particularly. But there is a general understanding that those on the far left will consistently call anyone 'racist' or anything 'racist' under the guise of trying to curtail speech that isn't aligned with their goals and world views.

Unfortunately this is becoming ever more pervasive in todays overall political climate.

Agreed. I see both sides do it - although it seems to be more prevalent on the far left. Specifically shouting down speech that they don't agree with on college campuses.

Agreed. College campuses have seemingly always been petri dishes of PC culture, but the last 20 years have seen a shift....perhaps its the social media influence. Although, when I was in college (02-06) I did not notice some of the noise that I've observed as of late. The movie PCU was well ahead of its time, it seems.
