Feels like a new watch

Also dropped off my 007 Planet Ocean for the same plus new crystal and bezel
What did that cost you?

$550 which is more than my beater automatic Seiko's

But it comes out looking like a new watch and it has Omega's 2 year factory warranty.

Maintenance at indipendent watch shops is much cheaper, but typically just includes oiling the mechanism... I don't think indie watch shops replace the gaskets and they definetly don't replace any worn mechanicals.

For my 007 Planet Ocean it's going to be more because I have to replace the sapphire crystal that has a damaged AR coating and the bezel because it is chipped.

Very nice, thanks. Not bad on a $5k watch I guess especially considering the replacement parts.

Gear S3 classic. I have been considering buying one nice vintage Breitling, but I don't wear watches much.

Ya I really like it so far. I am actually not really a watch type of a person. I haven't worn one for years but this Valentine's Day my wife thought it would be "fun" to get some watches. So being from Michigan I wanted something local if possible so she got the Shinola and really likes it and I went with the Detroit Watch Company. Their M1 Woodward is a really sharp watch too.

Here is her Shinola.
