The only thing that really urks me is the Unsullied, they're supposed to be some epic fighting force yet always seem to get bested by a bunch of thugs in masks.

It's been pretty good. But if you want epic battles then I would watch the last season of Spartacus on Starz. Now that was fun to watch.

I don't understand why you guys are saying every battle scene is "epic." Like that fight with the White Walkers. Hearing a few people say it was sooo epid, I stayed up to watch it after coming back late at night from Asia. After watching the few episodes I missed, that fight scene was the only thing that got me thinking "cool." It wasn't all that nor was it "epic."

This last episode was even more tamed. Yes, there were some decent scenes but very slow developments on everything. The entire season has been very, very slow. Just like someone else said, GOT seems to be slow, slow, and then toward the end a few decent scenes happen and people are all like "best show ever!!!"

Completely agree. The show has slowed down, but the boobs scene from the most beautiful girl in the world was refreshing indeed and yes quite epic. The show has built up such drama and suspense with a penchant for throwing curve balls(for those that don't read the books) that now it's creeping along filling time.....because once the battle starts with the white walkers and the battle for the kingdom with dragons and crap, how much longer can it last.
Now this last episode with Dan riding her dragon was indeed effing epic imo, the most crucial development of the season, and they will likely not even mention it in this last episode.

I predict that Tyrion rides one of the other dragons into Kings Landing and goes to work -- burns mthafkas up...extra crispy -- LMAO!

Agreed it's funny how friends on Facebook are building up episodes to be crazy. I think people just have low standards for shows these days. I've read a few of the books and they're definitely more complicated but I know things are changed for filming to make it easier. Either way, still quite an enjoyable show and a nice change from the normal crap out there.

In some respect, it might be a victim of its own success. I am for character development but am wondering if the hopping around from the books has left the show w/ less good stuff now that, I think, they may have caught up w/ the books. Note....I haven't read the books but am going from what I've heard/read. I know of someone that gets stabbed at some point which will suck since it is probably the only story arc that is actually interesting to me right now. The Dany/Tyrion arc may pick up now but...I don't know if Tyrion will be enough to save it.
