Agreed! The Mustang was one of my favorites. My parents bought a Mustang in Dec 1964 it is still in the family. My brother has it stored in Birmingham AL. It's no Shelby but it's in excellent condition.

I happened to get my hands on a '69 Boss 302 (from a family member) - the back left quarter had been smashed. I spent every summer home from college working on that car - sold it when I was 27 for a down payment on my first house...not a day goes by that I don't think of that car.

Growing up - my family had several mustangs - 67 Fastback, 69 and 70 Mach 1's, the 69 Boss...

Not up to speed on classic Mercedes but look at the pic after the AC Cobra shot... Is that the same car but in red? Hard to tell as I only got the front end in my picture...

Edit: Never mind, took a closer look and can see they are different models...
