Yeah, I'd love to see Max close out the most dominant season of all time and then some real competitive seasons in the future.

The old days of maintaining track position are over - multiple times Merc has made the decision to maintain, then get passed by cars on fresher tires

Also their clumsy body/aero system shines only on a few tracks and the fitter Russell than the older Hamilton wrestles the silver eye sore 13 to a podium.

Their car is so sensitive to everything.

Wind speed, wind heading, fuel load, etc.

All the cars are sensitive to that but for some reason Merc is affected worse than anyone. 2 kg of fuel gets used and it turns into a rocket. Another 2 kg gets used and it turns into a boat again. Someone in the grandstands farts and the car has no grip.

Would be awesome to see Checo get another win but he just hasn't been able to progress with the evolution of the car like Max has. Cannot see him being able to outpace Max on any given weekend at this point in a car set up tending to oversteer. Excellent driver but just doesn't have that level of skill in him -fastest with a bit of bias towards understeer and that has been worked out of the car.

No wonder SF sucks this year. They were busy making the most beautiful SUV I've ever seen. Completely destroys the Cullinan, Urus, Bentayga.

Maybe not through race skill compared with Max but could be 'given' to him if the gap is safe to the chasing pack.

Sure . There's a big chance that MAX can do it ...

On the other hand :
If the opportunity arises , Checo will get a win from MAX .
Because MAX hasn't forgotten yet , what Checo did for him at Abu Dhabi 2021 .
