Mercedes are faltering

With both cars finishing out of the top 5 and key people leaving Mercedes the team appears to be on the slide and are moving towards mid position runners. Also their strat is questionable with trying to please both drivers.
Wolff is saying he has nothing to do with build decisions and other things but..isn't he the boss who has the final say?

They are too far back to make any difference now and have stumbled badly out of the starting blocks.

At this moment , it looks very bad for Mercedes because the W15 is bouncing again !

Because of the basic car design there doesn't seem to be a slim gap where the car is quick and doesn't bounce.

Mercedes may now be further back than was at first thought.

It may mean the whole car design is wrong.

Yes . That's what I said .And we have seen that the Mercedes PU was overheating..
It won't be for this season and next season for Mercedes..
Maybe ...in 2026 , with the new PU regulations.

I mean the new 2026 espresso machines..

George Russell has been made the teams number one and his take on their W15 car is not good for Wolff and Mercedes for this year and the next.

Another blow for Wolff as now D'Ambrosio (was Vowles replacement) is leaving Merc for Ferrari, it doesn't rain it pours for Mercedes.

As much as I want to see more youth coming into the sport, I think they'd be crazy not to sign Sainz. George is a good driver, but he just doesn't have that "team lead" attitude. Sainz seems more mature and confident, ready to take that team lead position. I think Merc would be lost on the driver front if it was Russel and a rookie.

Sainz has that certain 'je ne sais quoi' quality about him that is not obvious at first, it would make him a good addition to that team and Wolff should see it with his quest for the best driver he can get.
