Pacers!

I live merely thirty minutes north of downtown Indianapolis so I've had the pleasure of watching this young Indiana Pacers team mature on a nightly basis over the past two seasons.

Hopefully now that they are in the Eastern Conference Finals, they are drawing some more eyeballs and gaining the respect of basketball fans across the country. I know that Paul George has LeBron's attention.

What I love about the Pacers is that they truly play as a team. Also, they are very, very disciplined (yet still aggressive) on defense. The team's Achilles heel is turnovers. If they can limit the turnovers and take care of home court, I firmly believe they can "beat the Heat" and advance to the Finals.

Anyone else want to see the Blue and Gold take care of business against the Heat?

I hope they knock out the Heat. Indiana has a bright future, unlike my AARP Knicks. I have enjoyed watching them play the Heat, even though they lost game 1. The series is now 1-1 going back to Indiana. Good Luck.

I wish I lived 30 mins away from an NBA team, I wouldn't even mind if they were the Lakers lol. What a great matchup and props to the Pacers for a well deserved win. I don't think the pacers will win the series but I wouldn't mind seeing a game 7 with this match up.

Great team, lebron has been fond of George for a couple years and always comments on how great he is. Sadly they can't beat the heat in a 7 game series. But they have the best chance in the whole league.

Indian's a tuff team, i think there height gives Miami all kinds of problems, for whatever reason Miami start's out flat, if they start the game with the same effort they had in the third quarter then they would win the series, its going to be difficult for the Heat though, big props to Indiana, but I would still like to see the Heat advance.

Being from south florida, Ive had the pleasure of watching all the heat games this year and this is simply how they play. They adapt to a team, thats why they constantly lose first games or come back after the half. Pacers deserve to win the game last night, heats supporting cast really needed a wake up call. I still believe pacers will win another game, but the series will end in 6.

Thanks! I'll be there for Game 3 tomorrow night. Will be going there straight from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway after the conclusion of the 500. It is truly a great sports weekend in Indy.

Yeah Bankers Life Fieldhouse is a great place to watch the game. You can always score cheap tickets. I'm usually court side or in a suite.

A couple of years ago when I was on the floor, I had Peyton Manning on my left and Amanda Beard on my right. Both of them were very friendly and as much as I love Peyton, most of my time was devoted to Amanda.

You are one of the most civil and humble Heat fans I have encountered. Thanks for dropping by the thread and good luck to your squad.

Wow. I was just watching sportscenter, and they showed D.Wade jumping up and hitting L.Stephenson on the head with his elbow. They said he might of tried to avoid Lance, while running up the court. However, It looks intentional. The league is going to review the play and determine if it was intentional, or not. A one game suspension is possible if the league thinks D.Wade deliberately hit Stephenson. This could be a series changer.

Have you never been running at full speed and try to trim by someone and bump into them by mistake? No offense to Stephenson, you have to get every advantage possible but everyone knows he sold that. Wade put no power into that elbow/arm it was just his momentum.

indiana is good and always manages to give miami hell, i do not wish to see indiana advance and i know they won't but you never know anything can happen, if miami does not bring their A game indiana can take the series easily, they are just too big for miami.
