You know, I considered it lucky if I get 30 or 40 views of one of my shots on Flickr. I'm really lucky if it gets over a 100 after a month or so. The San Diego Safari Park put this one on their Facebook page and in two days it got over 4,200 views, making my little stats chart go straight up!

It's such a beautiful shot, congrats on the exposure (pun intended)!

I've had this happen with one of my shots that got on Tumblr and gained hundreds of views ... the got 2800+ views in one day a week or so ago (the shot is from 2008) from "unknown source".

Edit : I thought I'd posted it in this thread previously, but after searching for it apparently I haven't, so here it is:

I'm lucky to get 30 to 40 views. Like you say Lenny ((edit) Carl? Ed? Ah - Lenny and Carl are the cats!) , if someone else shares it, that's when the views come rolling in. Here's one from a trip out today

Considering how amazing IS can be, it's no wonder it costs so much on the big lenses.

LoL, it never used to be a problem, but then I had to start linking all my photos directly back to Flickr where everyone see's that handle at the bottom of every picture. It's OK though, I can still take a compliment using my cat's names

Some nice photos again today. I never got away from the airport in Iceland, but what a beautiful country!

And Paul I dig the RED too; reminds me of being at a concert!
