i just got home. was in the car from 10:30am to 6:30pm. ugh.

need to offload the ones from this morning still. this is also from yesterday afternoon.

well... we're giving up looking for it... needless to say I am not happy one bit. Now we're gonna move our flights to Sunday for an extra $200 each. We also have to rebook our inter-country flight in Belize.

Our plan is to drive to Detroit and be there when the passport office opens at 8:30am, and hope they listen to her story and give her a passport the same day. If not, we have to go through some website and pay extra $300 and shipping and maybe get her new passport by Saturday.

This sucks balls... I can't believe she lost her f'n passport. She had it 2 weeks ago and supposedly never touched it since... it doesn't have feet... where the F did it go?

that's brutal... Good luck with the passport office, my past experiences have been pretty good with them doing emergency jobs.

Also, you made me start doubting that I had my passport on me, so i tore apart my packing just to double check....

Didn't really want to drive back home on the black ice i experienced on the way here...

just between Kitchener and Grand Bend Ontario... I haven't heard of anything in Michigan, I'll be checking that in the morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer from what I've heard though, so you should have an OK drive.

Chewy, when you made me worry about my passport and I started looking for it, I actually came across a watch that I thought I had lost....

It was one of those happy but pissed off moments like... "what!!! how the f**k did you get there? I don't remember putting that there... I'm so happy to see it though!!!"

Well, at the least the Detroit trip wasn't a bust. She should be getting her replacement passport in an hour... For ~$200. So far this whole mess has cost us an extra $1000. Oh well, at least we should be good to fly out on Sunday morning now. Still can't believe this all this crap.... One good thing is Pizza Papalis for lunch here in Detroit

Pre-trip issues seem to be catching. Wifey was backing out of her space in her lot and someone else was also backing out. Crunch. Now we have that to deal with when we get back. Women.
