You guys act like every Plaid car is flying off the road? Or they are out there causing all sorts of accidents. How many posts have shown the new M cars all smashed up already? I've seen a bunch just on this forum. I think the car was out a month and there was a bunch of them already wrecked. I don't like the Tesla cars but I love Elon. 1,026.96 a share baby!!!!!!

Some of the comments in this thread are pretty hilarious but to each their own. Not surprised by the hate and strong opinions as it is a BMW forum.

I'm actually in the process to trade in my F80 M3 for a 2022 Model 3 performance. In many ways I got the F80 because it was the perfect compromise car. I have 2 little ones and car seats fit ok in the back, it handles well (although there are cars that handle better), it is decently quick (although I was beaten many times off the line by much faster cars including the plaid), and there is a plethora of mods to keep one busy as you can see with all my for sale threads.

M3P as a daily driver in mind numbing bumper to bumper traffic and a manual cayman for the weekends, to me, is a solid combo.

Not sure how you could ever get bored with these cars. Every time they update their software half the features stop working properly like heating or windshield wipers. After a year of no album artwork (in they year 2021 lol) via USB working I hear they finally fixed that. Everyone takes properly functioning windshield wipers for granted until they buy a Tesla (just google model 3 windshield wiper problems it if you are curious). Definitely not great cars for cold weather as Canadians found out this winter.

Did you read that article about when those people got stuck because of a storm. Someone in a tesla was stranded inside the car for 16 hours. I think in that time the car lost only about 15% of charge. Not bad at all!

Follow black tesla on youtube if you haven't already. The updates to autopilot is insane. He does it in a plaid too.

Can't wait to get my tesla.
