I really don't believe that. We'll see in FP2 and tomorrow, but my guess is that the McLarens will lead the pack.

Yeah .I think Pirelli will have headaches in 2026 when in comes to the rubber compounds .

I didn't see it , but think Charlie cooked his brakes and locked up.
I wouldn't say a beginners mistake , because Charlie is best qualifier out there ..
On the other hand : He should have remembered that he crashed in that turn before (!)

Talking about brakes the new pads on my M are much less dust than the rubbish dusty textars on it before, wheels are clean for much longer

I see more and more articles about the McLaren and Mercedes flexible front wings.
It gives them a 10-15 km/h higher top speed advantage at the straights ..
