Yes !!! Remind of this funny story... knew a guy who played football at USC... Or as anna calls it - baseball...

Blew his knee out, laid out in hospital, nurse brings him breakfast and asks how he's doing and asks him to give a urine sample...

She leaves, he doesn't feel like eating for obvious reasons, and decides to pour the apple juice into the urine container...

Nurse comes back, makes a comment about the urine, he asks her to see it real quick. Looks at it, shakes the container and tells the nurse - "you know, I think you are right. Let's run it through the system one more time..." Pops the lid and downs the apple juice... Nurse runs out screaming...

This is on my list of things to do if I get hospitalized...

I used a tempurpedic for quite a while and loved it, relocated and had to get rid of it, and bought a 4" memory foam mattress topper from Bed Bath and Beyond for like $300 for a queen sized mattress. Its virtually the same on top of my current box spring and mattress setup! I used to wake up with daily back pain, and not anymore. I also have chronic neck issues (rugby, hockey and bucking horses will create some whiplash events!) and use the curved Memory foam pillows. Its the only way I can sleep now.

I saw 2 family members dying in front of my eyes in the hospital from very close..Because I was agreed for to be the day and night guard..
I remember the images of it and that's not so nice , because we/I are still alive .
I only did it about respect for people that I loved , but I was completely exhausted at the end...
The advantage was that they were both very sick and a lot of morfine was involved in the last months and they were actually talking like drunk people .
The cause for the morfine was pain and it was like every day a little more ml (cc) of the morfine till the last day that they got the overdose of morfine and actually died like a junky ....and unconsciously like sleeping .
The enormous downside of morfine is lack of hunger because the stomach is numbed too and they don't eat and so huge lost of body weight is visible every day...and that looks scary like shit !
Mijn aunt body weight was - 40 kg when she died , but she still laughed 30 min. before she died .
Thank god there is morfine and I would love to die in the same situation without suffering and drunk from the morfine

I know a guy who used to work for a "memory foam" manufacturing place. They would give out pillows and thinner pads to people who took tours because it cost them so little to produce.


Fun fact, he said that some of their full size mattresses cost something stupid, like single digit dollars to produce that would sell for hundreds if not into the thousands of dollars.
