Yup, conservation of momentum for elastic bodies; which requires hooke's.

Huh, I've actually never dealt with deformable bodies like that. I figured it was some kinetic energy term after the collision. Thanks for learning me some physics Prena

Hey! I was below average student when I was in high school and undergrad.
Although i ama slow learner, I just happens not forget crap that I learn from the past.
