We don't have that choice in the UK. Even for those of us that have gone through the time consuming process to obtain a Firearms Certificate, there are still massive restrictions on storage, use, etc. They are not a means of defence under any circumstances here in the UK, so its not a matter of whether you feel safe or not without one - there is no choice!

Don't forget, even our regular Police Officers do not carry firearms as a routine so no way will the public ever be allowed to!!

That's exactly why our public aren't allowed to have them...... but that decision was taken by our Govt a loooong time ago and won't ever be changed......if anything it will just get ever more restrictive over here.

Good luck practicing anywhere but a range, and then you better have your PAL and ATT if it is restricted. Just go to Target Sports (or whatever it is) in Stouffville - they'll "rent" you guns to practice with.

Oh - and not entirely true about not being allowed guns in this country. Just absurdly difficult and a long time consuming process. But once you get through the hoops initially, you can buy as many as you want with very little wait times.

Collecting, haha. Here's my home defense shotgun, an SRM1216. 16 round semi-auto shotgun, but I prefer to have 33rd glock 19's around the house just in case of home invasion. I've been meaning to convert one of my closets into a vault, but just haven't had the time.

Yeah I heard about a special bullet was used in the Cheytac M200 .

3 Miles? How high must the aimpoint be?
My personal record is a distance of 1280 metric meters and the target was a big piece of wood. Hit it somewhere, no idea where exactly

Cool logo! My friend's AR 15 was a police trade in, it's got the county and "23" milled into the receiver. Sort of reminds me of that.

Anyone tried a cz evo pistol or HK sp5k? Maybe sig mpx in 9mm or 45?

I have no need for one but I want a "pistol" that I can shoulder with a sb tactical brace. I'd like to suppress said pistol as well.

If it proves reliable, I might make it the primary home defense weapon.
