I don't know about the States, but where I live in Canada, there's already a "delivery charge" added on to the bill. It's not a small amount either.

If I order a $10 pizza, the delivery charge is $3.50. Are you supposed to pay tip on top of that as well?

That ends up being $15 for a $10 order...

Or you use an online coupon and get a large premium pizza for $8.99, pick it up yourself, and tip them a dollar on your way out.


I don't believe the delivery charge is the actual tip, but I may be wrong.

Not the kind of gap I usually enjoy. Glad the car is here, so this is just a minor setback unless someone doesn't hook me up with a new one. Then hell is breaking loose.
