So they would have had to been pretty big cover-ups.

Everything was black and gray, so those are they are the easiest to remove as they absorb the most light....but it also makes it the most painful.

Took 8 sessions.....each one lasting 45-60 minutes consisting of the smell of burning skin and pretty much 2nd or 3rd degree burns. Then the area is dressed and allowed to heal for about 10 weeks before doing it again.

I would walk out of each treatment soaked in sweat as it was intense. But now you can't even tell I had anything done. No scarring or anything....so pretty impressive they can do that.

Probably spent about $2K in total.

This was close to 15 years ago....so I'm sure they have improved the process since then!

My problem is that I'm addicted to the work of making it the way I want it. I've sold numerous cars because I ran out of projects to do with them. That's when I get bored with a car!

I picked up a Lexus IS 350 F Sport last night. The BMW was about to cost me more money than what I wanted to sink into an 11 year old car with dated technology. I'm actually on my way to get a quote for vinyl wrap chrome delete and 20% window tint in about 5 minutes. Let the modding begin!

Nice....I was actually on my way to buy one for my new daily....I think with the Mark Levinson system if that's what it's called when the dealer stiffed me.

He said he had another customer wanting to look at it after we had agreed on price and I was driving down with a certified check. Basically waiting to see if he would get a better offer as they only showed cars by appointment. I told him forget it, and the next day found the Alpine White 128i. Drove down on Saturday and bought it.

Dealer called me Monday and asked if I was still interested in the Lexus....and I basically told him I knew the game he was playing and told him to stick it as I found another car and bought it.

So he lost a sell over probably less than $600..... And I remember looking a couple weeks later and he still had the car listed.

If not for that....I would have definitely picked it up as it looked very nice. But the 128i with the 6 speed was a great find. I just figured that's what was meant to happen at the time!

i feel that, the lack of aftermarket for the lincoln definitely has set the tone for how much im connected to this car... can't even go oem+ since there's nothing to retrofit or even change the wheels because already have the 20"s

i was actually going to buy a 2011 550i, but the BMW dealer pulled the same thing. went to look at the car on friday, ended up liking it. went home, did some research on the car and N63 in general and said i'd be there monday to sign papers. so i go monday, evertything checks out - i can't believe i'm getting a car to my name. told him before anything that after we agreed on price i'd tell my dad and he'd wire the money and that i'd drop the check off on wednesday and that they should prep the car for delivery by then, even left a small deposit.

come wednesday, i go there, the salesman goes "oh yeah our bad, our manager didn't like that and someone bought it tuesday. here's your deposit back"... turns out that guy financed too, so these idiots missed on a cash payment for not being able to wait 1 business day.

i was pissed to say the least, it was a one owner 550i with the sport pack at 56k with all the recalls already done on it... it was also a silver car with the oyster nappa and just was 10/10 in general
