2019/2020 Hockey Thread

Apparently once the few exhibition games end and the playoff games start, they will be playing chants, crowd noise and goal horns etc. recorded from that team's arena. I'm a huge NY Islanders fan, really looking forward to the game on Saturday and a full weekend of playoff hockey coming up! Anyone else an Isles fan on here?

That is cool. Will they make it based on the "home" team? Or would the goal horn be team appropriate for both teams?

Honestly I'm not sure if they pick a "home" team or not...I guess we'll see on Saturday.

So, while all the games are being played in Canadia, Vancouver is the only Canadian team left, and hanging on just by the edge of their skates. Tampa Bay, which has probably not seen ice since the last Ice Age, is the first team in the final 4??? With Vegas soon behind?

There was a rumor of ice in Dallas a few years ago. If we don't take any dumb penalties tomorrow , I think we have a good chance.

eh, you do know both Tampa and Dallas have won the Cup before, and Vegas has been in the finals already?

Stars played a great game. I honestly didn’t think they would make it to the finals this year, but they have been pretty dominant in the Neutral Zone.
Heres to hoping they can win another Cup. It’s been a little more than 20 years since they raised it.

Outside of those first two dumb penalties, I thought the stars were absolutely their equals. The Stars have outplayed Tampa 4 out of 6 periods.
