Axels and toe loops won't work in hockey skates - you dont have a toe pick. I taught a minor league player a sit spin and some cool footwork skills though.
Skating took up most of my time growing up, especiallly when you get into the levels with triple jumps. And the competition can be brutal, at least hockey players have the sense to just hit each other.

im not picking on you, its a theory, i have a few buddies who are cons and can do shit like that (One managed to get $5mil through something in oklahoma, he had to leave the country but hes back now) and pull it off, its not hard.

No need for a toe pick, just me crossing the blue line with my head down, and a 250lb defenseman with a strong desire to take the puck from me!

Most of the power skating techniques I learned were from a figure skating coach. I dated a girl briefly in college, and while I could skate circles around her in hockey skates (she was so not accustomed to the rocker! ), when she put on her figure skates, all I could see was her ass...

...which wasn't all bad, as figure skaters have GREAT asses!
