I'm now on Neon Sport - VOLT. Decent stuff. Been through way too many things in the past. This is a good alternative.

Best preworkout is a full cup of black dark coffee about 30 minutes before you start working out. Add a bit of creatine (if you are taking it), and a scoop of peanut butter (P28) or 100% whey and you are good to go. |

Not trying to be offensive but I really think preworkouts are overrated people that don't know better get sucked into paying absurd prices for them. They are full of artificial ingredients no matter what they tell you. I got my C4 on sale and use it as a backup plan in case I'm exhausted or need something fast. Personally, I like to use the following: 1) 1 cup dark coffee 2) .5 scoop 100% whey protein 3) 3-5 tspn creatine (monohydrate) 4) 1 tbspn peanut butter (P28) Have what I mentioned 30 minutes before working out and you will be set. I love that combination, plenty of natural energy, a nice wake up from the coffee and some protein to get your digestion going. |

2 cups of black coffee if i feel like i need a boost. I dont see the point of pre workout, you eventually just get used to it and start to have mediocre workouts. then when you stop you have shitty workouts. I can understand once in a while or before a powerlifting event or something, but i dont like the idea of being dependent on some concoction of powders in order to be able to go lift.

I'm curious what time of day your working out and using pre- workout?
Even when I lift I get in some jump-rope and hate having anything in my stomach at 6:00 a.m. while jumping. |

not debating creatine, its very useful and has proven benefits. The 'focus/blood circulation' is what i think is funny that people need to drink something to be able to focus enough. |
