UCSD grad here...me too. Lived most of my young adult life in San Diego. When the kids are off to college I'm probably going to hang up the briefcase down there.

Another 5 to 10 inches of the white shit in the forecast from 4am tomorrow through Friday morning. Argh! It was mid 40s yesterday so lots of melting. Temps dropped last night so all the roads were an icy mess this morning.

I live close to St. Petersburg. This year we have an ordinary winter, the temperature is about -10-20C (15,-5F), snow.
It was a little colder this morning -30C (-22F) however, both dogs are happy and running around happily in the yard )))

Turns out my pool guy also does snow removal. He’s coming early tomorrow to do my mom’s and my house. I considered doing some shoveling now. I’m tired of this. I cleaned off the car.

Still not where I live (or would ever want to live), but I suffered through a sunny day of upper 80's F yesterday...in the not-so-Mighty Dodge...with a broken air conditioner. Sure did make an evening dip in the pool feel great, though!

The big front came through last night, and it is in the low 50's this morning. Guess that's the last of pool weather for a while.....
