Rather warm 36 deg C at the moment (Pilbara region of Western Australia) but a lot cooler than mid to high 40’s we’ve had for the last few months (120’s for you fahrenheit folks…

FMD you're in the Pilbara and I am in the arctic. There were some days last week we were 70 degrees apart, real degrees not bald eagle degrees.

My buddy dragged me out into wind and snow yesterday in Castle Pines, CO. He's not a traditional snow dog....he's some kind of hound mix, but man, he loves playing in the snow! And we're getting more snow tomorrow.

They scared everybody with a -31°F (-23.8°F) but they were wrong, -24°c (-11°F) was the coldest and its now a balmy -16°C (-3.2°F)

I know, it only turned out to be half as cold as they predicted. Sun's out over here which helps a lot. Might have to bust out the shorts.

If you believe the European forecast model.

The GFS model (made in the U-S-of-A by gawd)

currently says that the storm is tracking more easterly, and only eastern Lawn Guyland may see noteworthy snow totals.....
