According to my watchmaker, this particular model (C11V1) was produced between 1969 and 1972. From the serial number he determined that it was a first year model.

The watch is running fine. I'm the one who didn't pay attention when setting the time. But thanks for noticing.

yep...i've seen that one and like it. i need to get my hands on one in person to see how it wears. although i prefer the cushion case on the pan europ. i already have a dressier chrono (old pic below) and want something a little different.

Attachment 2428594 This watch was obtained at an estate sale. The original owner was a collector and kept it under glass in his vast collection. I rarely take it out.

Popped a more period correct Rallye strap on my LeJour. This is now my favorite watch, I wore it to the hospital when my twins were born two weeks ago. I spent a lot of time nervously looking at it, while waiting for the doctor to get started and waiting on the nurse to get me and bring me into the OR. I will probably get it serviced soon and I am thinking about getting my twins birthday and times of their births engraved on the case back when I do.

I have too many watches but couldn't resist this one based on the radio synch and solar. Leather and NATO band come with it.

Got a new rally strap for my grandfather's Wakmann. I hardly wore this watch because it felt small on my wrist but this strap seems to make it feel a little bigger.

Caught a great shot in the morning sun. Loving how the blue is light in some lighting and dark in others.

An old Seiko Kinetic auto relay from my father-in-law. Still keeps perfect time. Not sure how old it is. He gave it to me over 20 years ago and it was already used.
