Aragonese Castle just offshore from Ischia Island, Italy. Fortifications at this location date to 474 BCE. The causeway connecting the castle to the island is a much later addition.

By the looks of that house and her attire, I would say she is household help. The homeowner may indeed have been giving her something, but I doubt that it was the vacuum cleaner.

In 1905, a very large log Forestry Building was constructed in Portland, Oregon, for an exhibition. The logs were Douglas fir, and the largest had a diameter of six feet and length of 54 feet.

The building burned in 1964.
