It asks you to sign up using your Facebook account, and it imports friends lists to show common connections, educational info, occupation, etc. I don't think you can create one without a FB profile (Tinder or Bumble).

What I did was make a Facebook account for the sole purpose of creating a Bumble/Tinder account. Only put up like 6 pics, name, and college/grad school. Quick and easy. Didn't add friends on that account
