Thanks for the recommendations so far... should probably add - I've looked into a few, but none of the services I found let you pick specific dates for shipping. They just gave you a window over like a 2 week period and said they may pick it up and drop it off anywhere within that timeframe. That won't work for me... Have the companies you guys have used allowed you to pick specific dates?

Executive Auto gives you a 5-day window to find a driver once you sign the contract and then gives you a 5-day window for delivery once picked up. For me, total time from contract to delivery was 6 days.

Jennifer's carriers (Ship A Car Direct) picked up on exact dates.

That was my first idea, but pretty much everyone I know is in Chicago and I'm down in Florida.

Hi, were you able to find one? Im also looking for an enclosed carrier that schedules a specific date for pickup. Thanks.

I've gone with TFX for enclosed shipping several times from Montreal to Vancouver. They're the best in the business as far as I'm concerned.

Other than the ones listed here, I didn't find any that were recommended that picked up on certain dates. It seems that the ones that have the best service and recommendations for the most part are the ones that will only give you a window of time. Just my impression....

Outside of bimmerpost, I heard really good reviews for Passport transport from a lot of people. However, they'll only give you a window of time, not a specific date to pick up/drop off the car.

I was recently in need of a good shipper and stumbled upon this thread. I also used Kirstyn with
Executive Auto Shippers. She was very polite, had great communication and had the lowest prices. Unfortunately, she quoted 5 days for vehicle pickup, when it actually took 13 days. Once picked up, I was given a two day delivery window the following week. The shipper called on the second of those days and said delivery would be the following day (a day late). I was going to be out of town on business for the rest of the week, so we spent 1/2 a day going back and forth on the phone before they agreed to change their delivery schedule and get it delivered within the promised timeframe.

Ultimately, the vehicle was delivered in great shape and at a great price, but it took almost twice as long as originally quoted.

Need Recommendations for Shipping Vehicle

Hi everyone! I'm back in the States after being stationed in the UK for three years. I have an S2000 in Colorado Springs with a friend and want to ship it to Mississippi. I'd love to make the 18 hour road trip and break my previous record of 13 hours, but I just don't have the time with my new job! Plus I already have to take time out to pick up the M3 in Georgia in the next few weeks.

I requested a quote on a website to ship the vehicle and unbeknownst to me, it sent my request to a bunch of shippers and my inbox has been inundated with quotes from companies all over the country. I guess that's good, because there was a spread in pricing, but for the most part I got a good feel for how much it should cost.

Do any of you have a specific recommendation on a shipping company you've used, esp for sports cars? The S2000 is on stock suspension, but still lower than the average car. I'm fine with an open carrier, just want them to treat the car right when loading and off loading.

Thanks in advance!

I believe that Rob Ferretti, from the Gotham Dream Cars (Multiple locations in USA) and youtube channel "SuperspeedersRob" is starting his own car shipping company.

Does anyone have experience with them?

Do you want economical or do you want enclosed with full services.

You cannot have both.

Though you can easily pay the later while receiving the former.

Question Reputable car shipper recommendations anyone?

I'm shopping for a classic car so I'd like to be ready with a good shipper when I find the right one.

Not looking to spend a ton. Enclosed will likely be preferred.

I've heard many people have had luck with Reliable Carriers. Some friends of mine as well. Honest prices and I've never heard of someone I know having a car damaged by them.

Now, are we talking M3 or a Ferrari.
