Jamaica Women's 100M win was historic, incredible performance. 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The winner ran the 2nd fastest time ever only behind Flo Jo (which is still a debatable time to this day due to Wind Aiding and potential doping).

Waiting for the men... however overall, I am not feeling too great about the USA Men's chances in Track and Field... we've always dominated and unfortunately I do not see that good of a lineup. Ronnie Baker is the only one so far that has gone 9.8s... during the Bolt times, all these results would have been abysmal.

And my prediction held true... we got Silver in the 100M.

With times that could have easily been bested by people 10-15 years ago... nice thing about the 100M is there is nothing subjective about it lol.

US men's volleyball team is pathetic. They couldn't even place a serve into play if their lives depended on it. What happened to our volleyball teams?? Beach volleyball is the same. A bunch of old fvcks that can't move.

Women's Individual Diving was fun to watch. China took the gold as usual in diving, think they said they've dominated it for the last 8 Olympics and taken gold every time.

Traditionally I think the Olympics are cool when you see great sportsmanship between the different athletes from different countries. The men's high jump was a good example of that. The Italian exuberantly jumped into the arms of the Qatar high jumper after judges determined they would both share a gold medal in the event.

Love the Italian's flare here wearing socks with his face sewn into them. Lol.

Heck, ban all events that doping can affect, so maybe there would be no games for me to watch haha. I'm pretty sure many of the winners just have the best non-detectable drugs and/or enough bribes for the relevant ppl to look the other way.

This is just a pissing contest among the nations and it gets tiresome, but I'm always hopeful when I see glimpses of true Olympic spirit, however few and far in between.

I was impressed and moved by the celebration after the women's 200m breaststroke race the other night. This South African swimmer Tatjana Schoenmaker seemed just as happy for her competitors (2 Americans) for winning silver and bronze as she did for herself winning the gold and setting a new world record. The Americans (Lazor, King) also seemed happy for her which was cool to see.

Wow the Asian dude from the 100M semis was absurdly quick... now they replayed it on NBC.

The Chinese are really moving up in the track and field world... and the USA is losing its dominance... strange times.

Yall need to pay attention to the US weightlifting team. Katherine Nye won gold in the 76kg class. Mattie Rogers is gonna be lifting tonight. Harrison Maurus ranked 4th in the 81kg which is the highest for a male American weightlifter in Olympics in the last 20 something years.

Also watch out for Lasha Talakhadze who has the WR in total and will probably shoot for the 500kg total, which is the highest total of all time.
