When you post, and by you I mean everyone involved that’s against ev, are just creating aimless logic that will make it seem like this won’t happen.

I’m not saying ev and it’s “forced” date is right. I’m not saying ev is better for the environment. I already said I don’t give 2 shits about the environment. I had countless catless cars in the past. Polluting the air like no tomorrow. I don’t give a fuck about the air.

I’m just saying if they have something set in place, instead of bitching, think about the positives of it and not worry about all the negatives. If you had an opportunity to make a change then do so. Will it work? Probably not but at least you’re trying.

But in the meantime as you’re waiting for this “backfire” about ev that won’t happen, think of ways you can benefit from this. Have your awesome ice cars for the weekend and get a badass fast ev for your daily commute.

Imagine having your 700whp m3 on the weekend and driving something as fast as a plaid Monday - Friday.


Sounds like a win win for the future.

What percentage of the population can't afford a new car, ever? They always buy used, and the prospect of a used EV with the ticking time bomb of a battery replacement is not something I'd want to contemplate. But hey, some people think the government knows what's best for us.

Every year this is getting better. However you want to think or assume about the infrastructure, or the grid, or charging capabilities or electrical fires happening at home is all nonsense.

We went from horses to cars and people thought that wouldn't work out.

We went from carbs to fuel injection and people thought that wouldn't work out.

We went from PURE ICE to hybrids and people thought that wouldn't work out.

Again i already agreed and said the whole "set date" on this thing isn't right. But we're here and the date is set so what are you guys really complaining about? Like really?

If I believed what I was told by the experts, I'd believe that EV replacement batteries would cost $2000-$4000 today, not the actual cost of $15,000-$25,000 (or more). The old "it will get cheaper" just hasn't panned out.
