They wouldn't hate you. They just might not be your wife and kids exclusively for long is all

Kinda. They made it heavier and fatter lol.

The 21/22 are ridiculous IMO. They're still super comfy and I'll always have a few pairs laying around for working out, gym, walk, bike ride, whatever. But rarely are they the "fashionable" sneakers I'll wear out to something more than an errand. The current style physically makes it impossible to be fashionable. They're too wide in the back, so much so it's off-putting.

Just look at the heels. It's even more ridiculous when they're on your feet.

*third pic - like, wtf is this? Moon boots?

Lol, yeah I see what you mean there. Especially that black one with the red frame as if to make sure people don't miss the fact it has a fat ass heel on it. It kind of has a cottage cheese texture like thing going with that material too.

BTW, I only see two photos so I might be missing the moon boots.

EDIT: Oh it showed up now. I see it. Haha, hideous. You can probably float on water with those things.

Looking at the diversity of tastes here I feel like posting these.

Not really a fan of the look (the ugly patches on the tongues must be covered with the jeans!). Bought them (6? years ago) for being too cheap to skip and also willing to try another (though non-practical, an external attachable pump) pumping implementation, as the two integrated pump models I had worn had the same non-critical fault: the left sneaker failed to pump.

Those are Shaq's old school retro with Reebok when he used to be with them.

They're not comfortable. At all. It's just a fashion piece.

Exactly. Agreed. That's why I don't get into or wear retro shoes. Zero cushioning and minor overall support.

Once in awhile, they'll throw new tech into retros. I have a pair of Jordan's where they decided to do a Zoom midsole throughout and it definitely doesn't feel like the usual. I have another AF1 that has different soles and made out of linen. Those are comfy.

Comfort wise, Nike doesn't have anything close to Boost. Nike's Zoom Alphafly Next%2 (I don't chose the names) are ridiculously high tech. They really do bring the energy back up through each step and the shoes do seem to assist in propelling you forward but it's such a strange feel - if you look at the soles you'll see what I mean. These are the sneakers banned from marathons and Olympics lol. It really is "cheating".

July?!! What, are they waiting for the baby calf to be born so the leather is more supple?

Hahaha. They’re made to order, but I agree that the timeline is a little long. I have plenty of shoes to wear in the meantime.

Well gentlemen, it's time for some new kicks for work this summer. Think y'all can help me out?

1. I spend my whole day outside on blacktop, need something light and breathable

2. Of course style points, I see hundreds of people a day and flexing on coworkers is a must

So I'm thinking.. Nike, NB, or Adidas. I went with the NMD R1 Blizzard last year. I'm thinking vapormaxs, 270s, or some other silhouettes I haven't heard of or thought about. Pic for reference
