Stock market tips and experiences

I don't really think it's as beneficial to look at individual stock charts anymore as the markets have been so poor recently that you can't really gain any insight as to how and when they stock will perform good or bad. At least I can't at all this month. I suppose aapl was a good buy but would have been even sweater when it was at $310, not $331and $329 when I bought in.

If we could just take out 1290 to complete the mini cup handle pattern we should head towards your 1313 target...buying pressure is coming in though...you can see the money flow coming into the metals including miners(although SLV down today).

Currently sitting at almost a 1% profit on AAPL. Today's increase on Wall Street is because of bets on Greece but I'm afraid this will be a short rally. I think I'll probably sell all 750 of my apple shares at around mid day and will be left with some July apple 335 puts. Thoughts?

Dang is right. Did you trade it? I sold lots of shares today, including all my apple shares (excluding the puts which expire July 16) today because I'm afraid the markets will go back down again. The Greece speculation will cease and the focus will be back on the us economy.

July 1 is Friday and the job reports come out for the USA. I'm expecting the unemployment rate to have risen in June to 9.2% which will send stocks tumbling. I'm expecting the DOW to be below 12k by the end of Fridays session.

we are 1 gap up from completing cup/handle pattern...LT and ST trend up now...if ES clears 1295-7 and mkt accepts prices above this area then IT trend flips upward also and the 2 month bear we witnessed prob over...sentiment readings say we rally for awhile now...we were too oversold and bear sentiment too high.

Despite silver price going down for past 2 wks, the effective volume(money flow ) has been positive, that tells me something.

Trend is up in all 3 time frames now....IT flipped up above 1295-7....hope you took bullish bias, as this thread did, 1-2 wks ago.

The actual stock isnt important...the overall mkt is.

I have been long AGQ for past week and will accumulate more.

MPEL hit my $12 target price. RENN,DANG and BIDU are on a roll the last few days.

DANG and RENN may have bottomed and could be due for a bounce back. Those 2 are on my watch list now and are 2 that I like.
