Also, do not wear tank tops to a range. My left boob was on fire for about 6 seconds. That mark better go away.

I bought smaller targets this time. Academy was out of the larger ones I used last time. I also shot at 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 yards this time. Even with my pinky bleeding out, I still think I do okay.

Those stupid 115 grain Winchester bullets were shit. My gun jammed 3 times using those cheap ass bullets. After I went through the box of those, I used my 147 law enforcement ammunition. Much cleaner shots through the target. Never once jammed my gun

I put on my buddies jacket here. Amateur move, I kept readjusting my grip at first. Again my pinky was hurting SO BAD. Also you can see how small my targets were compared to the guys shooting next to me

Finding which brand of food your firearm likes & doesn't like to eat is part of your training. As a rule, I always stay away from Remington because I've always had bad luck with it in .22 and .45. Never tried 9mm as a result.

He wanted me to use these bullets and not waste my self defense rounds. After the third jam, I said fuck it, I'm using my good bullets.

It was $22 at academy for 100 Winchesters vs. the $50 I paid for 50 bullets of the 147 grain bullets I previously bought.

I'm of the belief that it is okay to train using your HD round(s) of choice. I wouldn't use them for standard range use since the cost will unnecessarily add up, but occasional use for handling purposes is okay IMHO.

Use cheapest at the range. If it jams then you get practical clearing jams which can be life saving if it happens when it matters. Also use a clip or two of the defense rounds you carry to be confident they won't jam and keep your carry ammo fresh. At least that's what I do. Ointment offer still available.

I've never had a glock jam on me. And i buy the cheapest (brass FMJ) range ammo i can find. I'm not sure i've even heard of a glock being finicky about ammo. Weird.

What was the jam? Fail to eject, fail to feed, stove pipe?

That's going to be there for a while. Had one land on my thumb and didn't fling it off for a second, that burn mark lasted for 4 or 5 months. I can still just barely see it.
