thought i would try something a little different. drizzled some olive oil on them, then salt and pepper like normal, but i tossed them in bread crumbs just screwing around. added a little texture, but nothing groundbreaking.
400* in the oven for about ten minutes while the steak goes on.

These look tasty! I did pork chops as well last night, but forgot to take some pics. We used ritz crackers as the breading then into the oven rather then deep fry. On the side we had corn fritters and green beans, was stuffed afterwards!

comfort food here is Broccoli Rabe, Hot Italian sausage, orecchiette pasta with parmesan and red pepper flakes - this looks like that, but in pizza form

Strawberry ice cream with Michigan strawberries

Ice cream base recipe by Bruno Albouze on YouTube.

The local specialty meat/produce market had Michigan strawberries for sale a month ago, so I bought a flat and froze them. Lots left in the freezer to use in recipes. Next time I will use more strawberries, this recipe used 0.7:1 strawberries:dairy by weight. Next time I will use 1:1. Churn was the Kitchen Aid stand mixer attachment.

Smooth and creamy without being too sweet.
