Mr.SugarSkulls Why do you believe in god?
I'm this close to renouncing my faith.

Common sense is there.

I literally need a sign, blatantly that he's listening. I can literally feel my faith in God slipping each day more and more, and its not bothering me as much as I had thought.

Starting to begin to think as a self made man, the obstacles thrown at me have really served no purpose when in the end it'll all be taken away. First bowser, now today my grandmas fallen very ill- I can tell you this much- if either gets worse- I will absolutely do everything in my power to prove that there is no God.

Hoping it doesn't come to it.

Oh my. Sorry to hear about your grandma. But I guess she's still quite young and will be ok.

But yeah, you've had a tough life and I think you should only believe in yourself for getting through it.

That's what's scaring me- I'm not even oppose to arguing it- because it makes sense.

I'm worn out. It's been a rough night. Thankfully bowsers doing better, we went on a walk tonight, with a leash- but still. I can tell he was happy to go out after a few days of staying in.

Messed up too, this was supposed to be the happiest month since my car arrived, finally was supposed to take time off, enjoy a little bit of my youth I've been forced to miss out on but nope. "God" had other plans.

I always wondered how people who experienced loss in their life can still believe on god. How do you explain that? It maybe made you stronger but that's pretty lame. I'm sure you rather just have your family members back.

In a heart beat. Even if it were a simple proper goodbye. I always wonder what my sister would have looked like if she had grown up. Or what my dad would think of what I've done with myself.

Whatever, new topic. Remember the advice I asked you on? Yeah, I kept it. Only because I'll be getting both. Lol.

I'm only young, childless and unmarried once right?!

No no, I've been cutting again.

I didn't like wearing h&m clothing last weekend and feeling like my legs were going to rip through them.

Time to get itty bitty!

I'll just quote some country singer here:
"Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers"

After my first wife left me, I was truly devastated, to the point of crying uncontrollably for so long and loud that neighbors called my parents. I was SURE I would end up the crazy cat man on the block, if I didn't take "the easy way out"

I nearly abandoned my faith, because the church was no help in my marital situation. She was gone, but all the church could do was recommend reconciliation with her, or being alone for the rest of my life.

Then I met my current wife. We have a wonderful son together, someone I never would have met if I hadn't gone thru those trials. And the rest of her family, probably never would have crossed paths with them.

Just be careful what you wish for! I was so lonely, wanted to have people around me, not to be lonely. Now there are so freaking many of them Ihave to lock myself in the bathroom to get a moment of "me" time

Nice pic of macarons. I got a gift of 30 of those, and someone told me it costed almost $100? lol

I did enjoy it, but I can't justify the $3/ea price for macrons.

BTW, can't stand people calling it Macaroons, so ....

That's about right. Since I'm not a fan of desserts, I can't justify the cost to benefit ratio....

I really really appreciate the person who bought these for me, because he knew that I would never buy stuff like that for myself. However, I would have enjoyed walmart gift card (me being ghe-cheap) more. haha

WHen I first thought it was $0.75/each, I was eating 3 per minute rate @ 1st miunute. After I found out it was ~$3/ea from my wife, I was eating 1 per day.

Mathematically, I should be eating 1 per minutes for the 1st minute. Since I am very price elastic, demand curves are exponential respect to price.

Sorry to hear about your rough road bro. I've had an insanely rough road as well. I'm not sure the best way to say this without a "disclosure" warning, so please don't take it personally I am speaking only in general/my experience, and not based on anything you've said at all:

A significant loss of life or rough road is usually paved in a very unfair way. I've learned that comparing your loss to others or thinking you have it harder in life just makes stuff worse. Try not to blame "god" or waste time proving he doesn't exist. I'll say this very publically, in 2005 I threw the middle fingers up in the sky and told him I'd find my own way through life. On December 2005 right before Christmas, I walked downstairs in the morning to find my father brutally murdered in our living room, and our house was robbed.... On the flip side, I have also found that doing your best to make others lives more genuinely enjoyable consequently adds more purpose to your own road of life. With that being said, lunch and a beer on me whenever you're back in SoCal bro. I know some amazing spots close to us. Cheers man
