4-0 game. A lot of fun. Great Atmosphere. A buddy got playoff tickets so I guess I'll be going to a lot more games hopefully.

not the best pics, but Dome was sold out...had a lot of fun. We were in the 200 section, pretty much behind Joey Bats and the atmosphere was amazing.
CN Tower Beautiful night for a game in September. My Best Man and I enjoying the game.

Boring lifeless performance from Yankee bats. Basically what I was afraid I would see come playoff time. This team overachieved, so I can't be that upset.

Tanaka Malaka is a #4 at best. I want CC and Nova gone, dump Tex and have Bird play full time and bring up Judge. Ellsbury is a bust, trade him for Hamilton, another bust. Keep Girardi for sure.

Baltimore needs a 1B so lets give them Tex for a bag of balls.
We need another bat. We need another starter. I wouldn't mind swapping 3B with another team. Headley is avg at best. |

I don't know what the fuss is about...the Yankees on paper and on the field we a sub par team who was going to lose. Most analysts projected them to be terrible and not even make the playoffs. The fact that most of them played well above their ability and got to a wildcard is fantastic and something to be proud of.
Saying that...I'm still glad you're out. SMH

If Mets don't make it to the WS then I want the Cubbies or the Pirates to win it all. Cubs need it BAD. 107 years and counting SMH.

I didn't think the Yankees were going to make the playoffs. So I wasn't upset that they lost. They overachieved this season, and Arod shocked many of us. What upsets me more is going into next season with pretty much the same team. The team is old, and stuck with bad contracts for years to come. They need to get younger legs and a power bat. The years of getting and paying the best player available is over. Every team has money, and there locking up there young talent. Yankees are not that powerhouse team with the current best player or players. I have season tickets and I'm thinking of not renewing. The stadium, and team has lost that energy. The stadium doesn't have that intimidating factor it once did when opposing teams came to play like the old stadium had. Its a building with a baseball field, not a ballpark. Its built for Corporate America. As much as it kills me to say this, Citified is a ballpark. I just can't root for the Mets. So go LA.

Tough loss for the Jays tonight. I knew resting Price was a mistake. He just didn't have it tonight, but then again...he isn't known for this playoff prowess. Hopefully we bounce back for game 2 tomorrow.

Price needs to have a good postseason. He's looking for a big pay day come next season, and beyond. I head he wants something around $22-25m per season for 6-8 years.

I could see the Yankees picking him up as their rotation is full of question marks. However, at $25M, these pitchers with long term contracts/amount never turn out great.

nahh, Price will never be a Yankee. He will never agree to shave off that beard and the Yankees will never change that policy under this ownership.
when he was still w/ the Rays, I remember him saying he would not want to be traded to the Yankees because of the no-beard policy. |
