The last Pumpkin Pickin train of the season pulling out of the station. At the end of the line, the kids get a hayride to a farm to pick their own pumpkin out of the patch and bring it back with them. This is the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway. The WW&F Railway Museum in Alna, Maine (just north of Wiscasset ), celebrates Maine’s Sheepscot Valley narrow gauge.

Fall colors in my backyard as the praying mantis changes colors from green to brown to match the dead leaves. I rarely see these is this area, but they were quite common for me growing up in the mid-west.
