Don’t worry. It’s up there. First thing I did was sort by geographic region, so maybe that 3 fooled you. Don’t let it. Trying to be efficient in scheduling is all.

I saw the “A” next to it so I was hoping that put it high on your list…

If you want an unforgettable experience, book the "Patrimony Tour" at Daou - it was incredible. YOLO!

I see the Justin Vineyard only got a "B" in the prioritization of your list, but the lunch experience at the onsite restaurant was exquisite and we ended up with a lot of wine as a bonus.

While we weren't huge fans of Eberle wines, the "VIP Cave Tour and Tastings in the Cave Grotto" private tour was excellent and I recommend as well.

And here's a great little tip since you will be in the area - make a stop at Pasolivo for some fine olive oil tastings, - it's well worth the short stop. It's located right off Vineyard Dr. and that in itself is a great scenic road!

Great tips, thank you!

We're actually thinking of doing dinner at the Restaurant at Justin. Never been to a Michelin starred restaurant before, and like you say, YOLO!!!

The "B" only represents the day, not the grade. Just a grouping.

My wife can't drink anymore for health reasons so I share a bottle with me, myself, and I. And friends, sometimes. It's a Friday night thing for me.

Then a full bottle for you will do! Can't say that's never happened at my house, either...

Opened my signed by winemaker Aaron Miller Adaptation. Got it at a wine dinner about a year ago. It’s aged long enough.

Have pizza coming. Haven’t had red schooner for a while. I debated opening my last Voyage 7, but decided I can wait a while longer. Still have several Voyage 11.

We were having problems with the X6 for a couple years and neither a BMW Dealer service shop or independent shop could fix it. New spark plugs and coils were tried. A software update was tried. Finally, through research I asked the independent service shop to change the transfer case oil and recalibrate the transfer case. The first real test was a trip to Walla Walla and Red Mountain for Spring release. It was like driving a new car, the miss-fire type symptoms are completely gone.

We were able to visit Leonetti Cellar for the 2nd time. Leonetti canceled their distribution weekend for a year or two due to covid. They only open their facility once a year with a few special event exceptions, I assume because they don’t need to market their wine and sell out every year. I was on the waiting list to join the club for so long I forgot I was on it. They may not have the same mystique they once had but they still make great wine that remains exclusive and hard to find outside of the wine club and fine restaurants.

Leonetti Cellar was founded by Gary and Nancy Figgins in 1977 as Walla Walla’s first winery. With a few cuttings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling, Leonetti would plant the first commercial vineyard in 1974 and establish the wine industry in Washington. In 1981 Wine & Spirits Magazine recognized the 1978 Leonetti Cabernet as best in nation in blind tasting and put Washington wine on the map.

The wines are not inexpensive unless compared to comparable California wines. Their Friday event is a great experience at a beautiful venue with good food, music and an opportunity to taste the wines.

Walla Walla is a dream destination for wine lovers and foodies alike with numerous great restaurants. Some of our clubs’ base production out of Woodinville and don’t have tasting rooms in Walla Walla although they get their grapes from Eastern Washington. DeLille and Betz come to mind. In Walla Walla we visited Long Shadows, Shoup, Mark Ryan and Patterson. Avennia and Liminal just opened a tasting room but we visited the one in Red Mountain instead.

The Red Mountain AVA is one of my favorites and though not much else to do there, several of my favorite wineries are there. We visited Fidelities, Avennia, and Chris Upchurch. Other than Leonetti, we picked up the rest of our club distributions in Woodinville so we didn’t need to store the wine in the hotels or car during the trip.

Had the Red Schooner “Transit” tonight. Australian grapes sent to Caymus, just like they send Argentinian grapes for Red Schooner “Voyage”. Had the Transit 2 tonight. Still have 1 each of Transit 1,2,3.👍🏼. It was very tasty. If you see it pick up a bottle.
