Yup, still jealous.

It's not my intention to make you jealous . I'm just posting some pics of the amazing places/things that I am seeing. I'm glad you like it

It's so beautiful here! Pictures just don't do it justice. You have to see for yourself to appreciate it.

It does look absolutely gorgeous. I will get there one day to explore for myself. In the meantime, please continue to post more photos.

When I worked in 51 Division (Fort Apache in Toronto) my first day on the road for dayshift my partner drove right to 7-11 for Coke slushy's then out came the bottle of dark rum. Things were different then.

That's awesome . I'm sure you are going to love visiting Algarve.

This is my first time here, and after a couple of days of being here, I could already see myself retiring here

The pace here is so different from where we live. Everyone is so relaxed and friendly.
The food takes 20 minutes or so to get to your table, so you know it's freshly cooked and not reheated, (and sometimes they put a bib on you and you have to cook it yourself on a hot stone ) (pics below), and they never kick you out of the restaurant. You basically have to call them to get the bill so you can leave.

People actually know how to drive. The only people that don't know how to drive are the Americans and Canadians. They stop in the middle of the roundabouts like it's a 4-way stop. GGOOOOO , it's a roundabout, not a 4-way stop.

One funny thing is that most norrow country roads are 90kph and the nicer wider roads closer to the villages and cities are 40 and 50kph. I told the wife that whoever came up with the country roads speed limits must've been drunk and in a hurry to get home because there's no way I can do 90kph on some of these roads. They have so many curves like you won't believe. I can't even do 60kph on some of them, never mind 90kph

The race track Portimao is amazing. (I think Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the fastest lap). There's the race track, a karting track, an off-road track (which I drove on), a five-star hotel, apartments, etc.

I've been almost everywhere in the southwest part of Algarve. On the coast from Armacao de Pera to Farol do Cabo de Sao Vicente to Bordeira, Aljezur, and on the mountains. So I've seen almost all that is worth visiting/seeing in the southern part. If you have any questions before you visit Algarve, feel free to ask.

I'm heading to the eastern part of Algarve tomorrow and then into Seville three days later. Three days should be more than enough to explore the eastern side. It's the party side of Algarve (that's something we are not into), and also the busiest part of Algarve.

That's awesome!
I have looked at the track website and the options for getting a few laps on the track. It's definitely made it on to my list of places to visit in Europe.
That meal looks delicious as well.
I'm glad that you're enjoying your trip. Keep us posted.

Did you know that blood types were discovered by Karl Landsteiner in 1901 but even to this day the reason for different blood groups is actually unknown and purely speculative.
