One thing I've learned from housewife is that there is a lady who is on our investment meeting (clubish), and she makes 400k cap gains alone per year.
This is excluding position trading for investment incomes.

I would rather be a house husband/wife all day and make $400K+ than work 15hr/day as physician making maybe 2/5 of that?

Nothing I do takes a lot of time. I wake up early, I usually have the dough to breakfast rolls rising before 4.30 am. Then I sip coffee, read the papers, check market, read a book for a few hours, bake the rolls, feed the kids and go outside with them. A few hours in the park, cooking lunch while replying emails, kids go for a nap and I make dinner preparations, laundry, read some more, handle my social life, and then it's time for the second park run and groceries. After kids go to beds, I can hit the road. At 1am when sleeping time comes, I read again for a while and cuss like a demon when again 4.30 comes and I can't sleep more.

I have extra time. I just don't spend it like other people do.

I know physicians income vary greatly, but the guys beater was the m6. He also had a Ferrari 458, an aventador, a 67 Ford Mustang in prestige condition and an r8 v10.

There's no way in hell this guy was taking less than a couple million home every year.

LOL< you are absolutely right. My kid's cardiologist (One of the hardest working and nicest physician I've ever met) is known cardiologist in US. I didn't ask, but few UofCO Med center (Anschutz) staff said he is probably banking about 0.7-0.9m/yr. He sure deserve that.

One of my little cousin's students is a surgeon, as soon as he got his instrument rating, he sold his Bonanza (doctor killer) and got himself a 3 million Pilatus PC XII.

I can offer some insight - I have loaned $$ to some wealthy people in my life, but the wealthiest people I have loaned to were not physicians....all documented Billionaires...

Don't get me wrong - Neurosurgeons make considerable bank, but nothing on tap with a couple people that I have done some business with...

The trick is to own the R/E and have the practice lease the building. Then, as you grow the PA, bring associates in for a determined time period, make them build a book, and slowly sell shares of ownership in the PA. Lastly - the R/E is the carrot they really want - but this is a 5-10 year window.

When you retire - collect rental income via K-1's from the R/E company (taxed at a different rate than W-2) until....

Finally - the PA partners will buy your equity share in the R/E. It's the circle of life
