I can't wait till it opens. Have you seen the old bridges new lighting system? They have it on the news quite a bit, computer controlled LEDs on the vertical cables. They run different sequences on it.

That shot was actually taken at Point Pinole Regional Park in Richmond. It's a great place to shoot birds, and has the added fun of the railroad tracks. I have never outgrown my boyhood fascination of trains.

Today I was out testing the AI Servo on the 6D using the center focus point. I was hoping to get some BIF pics of the huge buzzards that float around our area, but as soon as I came out with the camera, they all settled into their tree out back. So I shot this of the neighbor's dog running towards me. This is nearly a 60% crop. I shot a series of about 10 frames on full auto using AI Servo. 3 or 4 came out very blurry, several were ok until I cropped in, and two were like this, which is not super crisp, but ok.

300mm f6.3, 1/2000/ +0.67Ev, ISO3200 Shutter Priority

Thats not half bad for ISO3200.. Amazes me how far canon has come in pushing the noise out.

So your take on the frame rate on the 6D is a mixed one?
