I wont step you onto your painted toe nails but...drawing a weapon at the range is a much more other kind of situation as into emergency. Count a few seconds more to draw, just thinking

I just checked my notes, and at the end of a 2 day class I was able to draw and fire from a holster (not concealment) in 1.94 sec, I was no where near the fastest in the class.

I would encourage anyone and everyone to get formal proper training, until you have, you really don't know what you don't know. I am nowhere near being an expert, but I am fully aware of that fact.

Knowing your not an expert is the first step in becoming an expert.

I meant the barn. Anyone can shoot the nuts off of a gnat at 500 with a rifle... but a barn, that's tough. (Unless we're talking about the broad side of it)

I just video recorded myself drawing for the first time. Interesting. Pretty much exactly what i thought it would look like. I'm fairly certain that my foe would be crippled with fear upon seeing how fast i can go to guns. lol

Actually did a couple, (empty gun) draw and shoot, then draw, rack, shoot and then did the draw, rack and shoot in slow-mo. Kind of fun, never seen myself doing that before.
