So I just happened to glance at the front page of the local newspaper, in CALIFORNIA. Top corner headline: "Cook, Vikings defeat Saints in OT"

Amazingly, zero about any teams from Texas, or their coaches, or even their next game sometime in 2020

Hey he did have 8 consecutive playoff appearances with the Packers, but also did have Rodgers so that helps. I believe he is a improvement and a better overall coach we will see in 2020. Let’s hope this next weekend bring 4 more great playoff games again!!!

One thing I find interesting about McCarthy (being a Packers fan) was all the bashing about him wasting Rodgers best years. I think his resume speaks for itself but his play calling did become a bit stale the last two years.

The interesting part to me is that there is no talk of how Sean Payton has wasted Bree’s best years.

I’m curious how Mike will handle Jerry’s overbearing style, it clearly doesn’t lead to championships. However, Mike does have a record of winning playoff games and a Super Bowl win. I also think that Aaron thought he knew more than Mike and I hope that Dak is receptive to coaching.

Not worried at all. And if you listen to local reports coming in, JJ is privately admitting to wasting talent and wanting to win now and allowing this new Coaching Staff to do their job.

well, missed 3 weeks of ball.

dissapointing end for seattle, losing to AZ and ofc SF. We needed that last one. started off way too slow in first half. I think season ends sunday though, GB is the ONE team i didn't want to face, especially AT GB. I dont think our defense will be able to hold up vs Rogers.

We sure had a good run for a rebuild. Let's get better some better corners, and oline..

They have had some great games. Being a Packers fan...I will be the first to admit that I don't really see them beating Seattle even while playing in GB.

Seattle are 8-1 on the road, and Green Bay has played mediocre at best even at home.

I definitely have my fingers crossed for this one. And the weather forecast is predicting snow...so this should be interesting.

But I'm ready for another weekend of great games!

i haven't really watched GB at all this season, but all i know is once they have rogers they have a chance..

You're right, seattle has done very well on the road this season, so we have that going for us. I jus hope our running game can eat up clock and keep ball out of Rogers hands.

I hate to say this, but you're giving Rodgers too much credit. The Hawks biggest advantage is at the QB position. Rodgers has been hurt 2 previous seasons but no excuses this year. Just has not been playing to his previous standards. Has had a few good games this year and I realize they have NO weapons outside of Adams (and Jones at RB) but his accuracy is just not there.

Yeah...he's been "off" for sometime. Most GB fans would think what we are saying is sacrilege, but it's the truth.

He's had a few glimpses of his old self at times, but not consistent. I hope it's not a sign of things to come, but all we can do is wait and see!

Have to agree that Rodgers isn’t playing to his standards, but I’m sure there are a number of teams that would love to have a QB with 26 TDs, 4 INTs and 4,000 yards passing.

I would rather be facing the Eagles, but this should be a really good game.
Wilson struggles when playing in GB, but GB offence has been struggling most of the season - unless they feed Jones which has opened up the passing game a bit.

What I would really like to see is Jimmy make a few catches (translation - stop buttering up the gloves before each game) and be the difference maker we thought he would be when GB sighed him for big $ from Seattle.

I have a feeling it may be another “ugly” game, which I like GB chances given everyone says we’ve been winning ugly all year

My debate now is whether or not to go to the game. Have to see if I can reschedule a meeting that I have Monday morning or if I can get a flight back to Toronto early enough to make the meeting.

Hell, even when dudes get knocked out they dont always get taken out of the game.

It was a good hit to the back of the head, that then slammed his head into the ground. Easy to see how an injury prone qb would be concussed from that.

Good thing is, since Wentz barely played, I dont think this loss counts against him, so Eagles fans can still say hes never lost in the playoffs. Glad they paid him so much. He needs it for all the doctor bills.
The player and coach have no say regarding head injury. Completely up to the doctor on the field.

you realize there are players every year that say they didnt report a concussion right? the DR isnt sitting there interacting with every player at all times. A lot of it is up to the coaches/player to report it.

That being said, i saw reports that wentz was wobbly and couldnt remember what happened. so yeah, that was probably pretty easy for the dr to see.

Wentz was on the bench shaking his head and rubbing his eyes. I knew concussion without seeing the hit until later

Don't they have doctor's in a box of the stadium with an eye on players and they call down to the field to get a doctor to put them in the tent? Or am I making that up?

there are league employed "spotters"

but a majority of the time, it is up to the players, coaches or refs to notify the DR of a suspected concussion.

Yes indeed! He has a shit ton of experience across the league and we also picked up a solid D Line Coach too.
The Press Confer was pretty entertaining and Mike said all the right stuff and came across more charismatic than I've ever seen.
