Hillbilly Elegy was a fantastic book, movie was amazing. Glenn Close may final get it, Amy Adams was stellar. Fuck the progressive liberal elites on the coast...this is America, and we need to fix it. #BootsStrapsLive

Anyone see Unhinged with Russell Crowe? Watched the trailer. Seems like it could be a Falling Down type film (which would be great). But also seems equally likely it could go sideways and suck. So wondering if there are any opinions before renting.

Yes. Good flick. But... The main female character was frustratingly stupid!

Greenland (2020). The movie is so bad, 15 mins in you start thinking it's either a) satire, b) money laundering, or c) some woke conspiracy.

Definitely right about her but Russell Crowe made it well worth watching.

Well... Here's my $.02... 3.5/5

It is a "unnecessarily complex and over written action film".

Nolan has become a premadonna in Hollywood. He's now bitching to Warner Brothers about their plans to release it soon on HBOmax. Ironically, he was the one pushing for it's release during a Pandemic! It lost hundreds of millions!
The studios have every reason to try and recoup their epic losses. He should STFU.

Been watching "The Gentleman" in piecemeal format as I haven't had the time to sit down and watch the full movie all the way through yet, but honestly I like it. I've generally enjoyed movies that are London underbelly humour though, like Snatch and others.

So far, I've been entertained by the various one liners. Surprisingly, so has my wife. But I haven't watched the end yet.

Typical Guy Richie film. I enjoyed it. The banter between Hugh Grant & Charlie Hunnam and Matthew McConaughey & Jeremy Strong is fantastic.

My only complaint was the UK rap video. The Brits are great at many things, rap music is not one of them.
