What status are you in now? I was a week 26 build and my baby is crossing the pond right now, expecting to pick her up in about 2 and a half weeks or so. I assume you're expecting her to be here first week of August?

It's completely bonkers that I will be the first in Austin to be ripping around in an M4. I still can't believe it!!!

I've also decided to take delivery in Spartanburg and drive it back through Ashville, NC and enjoy those mountain roads

. I figure, it will be pretty dang close to the end of my break-in period by then so I can really drive the car after I get back!

Gents,

Congrats on your orders. I am also on the boat for an M4 and it will be my first BMW. Very excited!!! ^_^ I've done a lot of research on this forum but I want to get your thoughts on who to take the car to for Tinting. I'm thinking 3M Crystalline to include the windshield. I would prefer someone in Dallas but Austin works as well. Also, I won't be getting mine until Late October/ Early November time frame so I'm very jealous of you guys having it early with all the FUN.

"sspyrops," looks like we have the same build except for the interior trim (carbon for mine), the alloy wheels (I opted for blacks), and the top and side view cameras. I can't justify getting the top and side view cameras as it would only be good for parallel parking. What do you think?

Suntint is the place in Austin - that is who the dealer uses also, http://suntint.com/

I saw it for the first time when I test drove it last week and absolutely loved it. It is not only for parallel parking, it also allows you to see what is in the lane next to you when your view is obstructed it's awesome.
