I just purchased a 2007 BMW 530i Sport Package with Auburn Dakota leather.

I'm new here but have been on forums before and have learned lots from them as well as liked to contribute. I have a few mods in mind already however there is still a lot to learn for me as this is my first time as a BMW owner.

Hey y'all! I just upgraded from an 08 335xi to a 2010 535i M Sport. The 335 was my fist BMW and while it was a pleasure to drive, the thing had too many miles and needed constant attention (I mean money). I'm loving the new one and as I get used to driving a larger car, I like it even more!

I haven't done anything to this one yet, except research what I can about it. I look forward to reading all y'all's posts and putting up some of my own.

I had a beautiful 98 540i 200k and in the last storm that hit... lost control of her and she could not recover.. BUT..her big sister step up BIG TIME I pick up my 09 535ix as soon as i get back from my biz trip CANT WAIT...
im new to forums.. so please be gental

I have a 2010 535i with M Sport package, HiFi Sound system, nav, etc. Recently I have been having an issue with the iDrive which is confusing. Intermitently I lose the audio, so no radio, phone works but I can't hear the call, they can hear me because the car mic works. Also GPS works, but can't hear the audible directions, etc. When it works, it works correctly. Usually it works first thing in the morning, but if I drive into town to the store, park the car and leave it for practically any amount of time, it won't work. It forgets that the satelite radio. But it usually always works correctly after the car has sat overnight. I would like to hear from anyone who might have had similar issues. The dealer just wants to replace the amplifier but I think its got to be a connector issue or wiring problem. If anyone can shed some light on this issue, I would appreciate it.
