Max can crash even before the race starts as well.. so its not only if the car is better or not..

MAX got 5 DNF . 4 times it was the RB16 .
Otherwise MAX was 2nd . Because It's actually not hard to beat Bottas (grandma)

Think this isn't looking bad for a 23 year old kid . MAX was the only driver who could fool the Mercs and break through the never ending Merc dominance ..

There was quite a bit of crowing during FP1, 2, 3 and even qualifying when VER choked in Turkey.

There was so much laughing at Sir Lewis and Mercedes at how VER and RBR were going to clean their clocks.

your comment just tells me you really are not so much into evaluating driver talent in relation to the car they are driving. Alonso and Hamilton, without a shadow of a doubt, would have won the WDC likewise driving Vettel's car during his championship years. He had a dominant car. When he has a dominant car and a team mate not on par with him, he delivers. When he has a not so superior car and a team mate that is competitive, he cracks under the pressure, as we all know now.

Vettel was already outperformed by Ricciardo and LeClerc so your insinuation that just because Max has no WDC's somehow makes him a lesser talent than Vettel is frankly, ridiculous. In fact, I would even venture Vettel wont be able to beat Lance Stroll. I do know you just said what you said is just for fun and games as I do sense you understand the logic of what I just said so all good!
