i didn't want to wait for shipping, so instead of paying $14 online for two hdmi cables, i decided to go to best buy to see if i could get them
they literally cost $59.99 for ONE cable of the same length and i'm assuming quality. fuck. that. shit. i'll pass |

thing about hdmi is it's digital...you either got signal or no. quality can only come in play in extended length

Try troublefreepools.com to learn everything about pool water chemistry. You can do it better, easier, and for MUCH cheaper if you stay away from the pool store for chemicals.

they sell expensive things, TV's in the thousands, some laptops in the thousand+ range When you go in and build a tickey of a couple grand worth of TV, DVD, Surround Sound and see $3000.00 on the computer screen. They know that $50 for a cable, and $149 for a TV stand wont be as hard to spend since you are that high already. Laptop bags, camera bags, HDMI cables, TV stands, etc... they make the most profit. You should of seen the numbers I did when working at CC on those items, they get them for pennies on the dollar and charge out the ass for them.

Ya I gave up on Best buy after I bought my new Samsung TV their in August. The more I looked into it the more I found things much cheaper online and even at local smaller stores. Fry's can be a good place but I hate going their and dealing with moron sales people and the lines that are always their.
The only thing I use Best Buy for now is their easy return policy. If i am not sure about a new product I will buy it from them, try it, then return it, and buy it online cheaper after I made sure I like it. This is how you treat whores, just so you know Quote:

CC was better about making deals, but the way they get around price matching is change the serial numbers a slight bit so they don't HAVE TO, if its beneficial to the company(if you are getting warranty, accessories, and installs) they will do it. The company is adamant about selling those add ons. 80% of warranties are profit, 10 for Asurion, and 10 for the people who actually use them. Those package deals are the biggest BS ever, they just take a bunch of items and throw them together because they are having issues selling the add-ons, so they make it mandatory, Those 500% mark up accessories are for wheeling and dealing, TV's have about 10% profit so they say they will discount the TV. They are really just taking it off the accessories and cables, and in the end they still make a profit on all of it, and make you think you just a deal of a lifetime.

The desktop speakers are unreal... Don't get me wrong the dock is great, but the MM-1s are on a whole other plane of existence. You won't be disappointed. |
