Nice timeout by Gus before the half.
That injury sucks for Tua. Looks / sound like a painful injury. I’m no Bama fan but wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

Yeah, dislocated hip, done for the season. Sucks as he is a great player. Watched the pre-game and the announcers were questioning why he was even playing against Miss St., let him rest for Auburn next week. Going to be some second guessing as to why he was in at that point but hindsight is 20/20.

I hope he has injury insurance since he was a consensus top 5 pick, with a very good possibility at #1 at the start of the season. I don't really know much about how that type of insurance works, but do know some college players have had it in the past. Most of all I hope he recovers, whether he gets to play football again or not.
I didn't see it live, but him playing shouldn't really be something to criticize unless his ankle didn't allow him to avoid the hit that dislocated the hip. Two different injuries. He looked rusty in first half vs. LSU so I can see why he and Satan would want to give him some playing time. I don't think you play starters only in tough games if they are ready to play. They play whenever they are healthy enough to play. As stated, hindsight is 20/20 so there will inevitably be questions about it. Separately... nice comeback by OK.

This isnt the BCS Computers anymore picking the champ, its a committee that looks at things like if your starters played the entire game in a close game or not. And yeah, it would be nice if OU could stop with these last second late games. I cant take the stress anymore.

LSU is definitely legit. Not sure about Clemson.

I'd be a bit surprised if OK wins it all, but not if any of the other 3 win it. All 4 are very good teams.
